English-speaking therapist in Bucharest, Romania

I am an English-speaking clinical psychologist and psychotherapist based in Bucharest, offering both in-person and online therapy sessions.

My approach is grounded in compassion, clarity, and presence. I work from a trauma-informed, relational framework that respects each client’s pace and inner wisdom. With over 6 years of clinical experience and more than a decade of professional and personal training, I bring both depth and structure to the therapeutic process.

I hold certifications in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassionate Inquiry (developed by Dr. Gabor Maté), and trauma-informed somatic practices. These methods allow me to work holistically — supporting clients in navigating emotional pain, integrating past experiences, and reconnecting with their authentic self.

In recent years, I have supported expats from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds. My international training experience and personal therapy process have deepened my understanding of how emotional wounds manifest in the body, relationships, and sense of identity — and how they can be transformed, relationally and safely.

  • Advice about what to do with your life — instead, I support you in finding your own answers
  • Passive therapy — transformation requires your commitment, not just presence

Credentials:

  • Licensed clinical psychologist (Romanian College of Psychologists)
  • Trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, and trauma-informed practice
  • Experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients and international/expat communities
